Lessons

How long are the lessons?

Lesson can be booked for either 30 minutes or 1 hour. Half an hour is suitable for most people, particularly young learners and beginners, but you might want to consider an hour-long lesson if you are hoping to make faster progress.

Is the teaching 1:1 or in groups?

We are currently offering 1:1 tuition.

Can I keep the same day and time for my lesson?

Yes, once you have booked and paid for a group of lessons that day and time are reserved for you. When you come to pay for another set of lessons, as long as you purchase the lessons before your existing ones have finished, we will hold your lesson time for you.

Is there an age limit?

There may be restrictions on the minimum age of the learner depending on the instrument, but there is no maximum age at which you can learn.

Are exams offered and do I have to take them?

Our teachers can put you through exams should you wish to take that direction. However, there is absolutely no obligations. You will learn at your own pace and your teacher will cater their teaching to your needs and requirements.

This will be dependent on the availability of your teacher and teaching space. Should the replacement lesson not be suitable refunds cannot be offered. Please note: No-shows and cancellations with less than 7 days notice, including for illness, are considered forfeited lessons and cannot be refunded.
