Help Windows Music Academy raise £30,000 for children across Tyneside
Music can build confidence, spark creativity and create a lifelong sense of belonging. Yet for many primary school children in disadvantaged communities across Tyneside, the cost of lessons and an instrument place that opportunity beyond reach.
Windows Music Academy, a registered charity, is launching a £30,000 appeal to remove those barriers. Around 166,000 children - 30% of all children in the North East - were living in poverty in the three years to 2024/25. Your support can turn that disadvantage into opportunity, one lesson, one instrument and one voice at a time.
Your donation will help us:
Provide free, high-quality music lessons
for primary school children in disadvantaged areas of Tyneside, delivered by experienced teachers.

Refurbish and give away musical instruments
helping children practise at home without placing extra pressure on family budgets.

Run uplifting singing workshops
that introduce pupils to the songs, stories and musical heritage of the North East.

Founded in 2020, Windows Music Academy has a simple mission: music for everyone. From our Newcastle city-centre home at St Andrew’s Church, we provide professional tuition and reinvest in the community. This appeal will take music beyond our teaching rooms and directly to children who might otherwise miss out.

Please help us reach £30,000.
Give today, £20 will sponsor one lesson. Donate and share the appeal. Every contribution will help a Tyneside child discover their sound - and give them room to grow.
Together, we can put music into children’s hands, voices and futures and keep the North East’s musical heritage alive for a new generation. For more information, please email info@windowsmusicacademy.com
