Covid Safety
Update 18/03/22:
Our Covid policy has now changed to reflect changes to restrictions and guidelines in the UK

The safety of our students and teachers is a top priority for us, so we are continuing to put in place a number of measures for face-to-face teaching. All measures put in place are intended to protect the health of our students and teachers and their families, and to ensure that we can continue to offer face-to-face lessons to all our students for as long as possible.

WHAT WE ASK YOU TO DO:

-
If you test positive for Covid, we ask that you stay at home and complete your lesson online out of consideration for your teacher and fellow students.

-
If you are experiencing Covid-symptoms and would prefer to have an online lesson, please let us know with as much notice as possible. You can read more about our online lessons here: https://www.windowsmusicacademy.com/online-music-lessons

-
Face coverings are no longer required for teachers, students or shop staff, but of course if you feel more comfortable wearing one, we fully support that.

-
Please consider wearing a face covering if you are experiencing cold/flu symptoms.

-
Please ensure you/the student has washed or sanitised their hands before their lesson.

WHAT WE ARE DOING:

-
If a teacher tests positive for Covid, they will carry out their lessons online from home.

-
As always, in the event that the teacher is unable to teach, your lesson will roll over to the next week.

-
Hand sanitiser is available in all rooms and must be used by students before and after the lesson.
-
Student and teacher only in the lesson room, where possible. Please let us know if you or your child needs extra support during the lesson.
-
Extra time between lessons allocated for cleaning of all high-touch points.
-
Rooms arranged to allow for social distancing and second pianos added to the piano rooms so teacher and student don't need to share.

-
Ventilation created by opening windows or doors.
