Abbie Finn is from the North-East of England and has over 14 years playing experience. 

 

Abbie has a 1st class degree with honours in Music (Jazz) at Leeds College of Music, and a Master’s Degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London with the Archer Scholarship. She also plays trumpet, bass guitar and piano and loves composing, arranging and musical directing.

In 2018, Abbie was cast as Mavis in the Harold Pinter play Night School at the Pinter Theatre, London, a role which included a live drum performance.

​

She has played in a range of different ensembles including big bands, small jazz ensembles, Samba Band, wind bands, orchestras, rock bands and brass bands. She performs regularly, and her current main projects are the Abbie Finn Trio, and the Finntet. She also depped for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and played with the NYJO Academy big band, The Trinity Composer’s Big Band and more.
